IN999 Forgot Password
Lost your IN999 password? Start with the Forgot password? link on the login form. If that does not get you back in, the login page itself says to contact customer service.
Resetting from the IN999 login tab
- Open the login screen covered in the IN999 login guide.
- Select the tab your account uses, Phone Number or Email, and tap Forgot password? on that tab.
- Work through the screens that follow. They were not opened while this page was written, so the wording IN999 shows you takes priority.
- If you are asked for a new password, use 8 or more characters with a mix of letters and numbers.
- Go back to the login tab and sign in with the new password.
Why IN999 locks an account
Typing a wrong password more than 10 times locks the account. The message that pops up says to use Forgot Password to change to a new password, and doing so unlocks the account for login. Another guess only wastes time, so keep your registered number or email close by and start the reset.
Three cases for IN999 customer service
Customer service is where the login page sends anyone who has forgotten a password, and the lock message has its own Contact customer service button. Reach out to them when:
- the recovery screens do not recognise your phone number or email
- the mobile number on the account has changed or been lost
- the lock message returns after you have set a new password
Never hand your password, or any code sent to your phone, to a person who contacts you first, whatever name they give.
Does the IN999 reset need an OTP?
This guide cannot say. The screens after Forgot password? were not opened, and neither the login nor the register form showed a one-time code box when checked.
